Replicate's homepage actually has the social proof and clear headline the last review said it lacked — the real friction is a pricing page that forces visitors to do arithmetic, and a signup flow that locks out anyone without a GitHub account.
We re-audited revolut.com/business live this week — hero copy, pricing page, and third-party review data — and found 12 real friction points. The old "67 leaks" headline didn't survive contact with the actual site.
As of February 2026, sendgrid.com no longer exists as an independent site — every path redirects into twilio.com, and the "pricing" link loops back to a marketing page instead of a price. We re-audited the real, current buying journey and checked every claim against it.
Shopify’s homepage messaging is so generic that qualified niche buyers (like print-on-demand or B2B wholesalers) likely bounce immediately, and the pricing page probably loses visitors because there’s no clear “best for” comparison. Fixing these gaps could recover real high-intent traffic currently leaking every year, though we don’t have Shopify’s own analytics to put a number on it.
Slack's homepage sells "AI agents working together" to a G2-beloved product, but the pricing page defaults to the wrong currency and the top CTA doesn't say what it does — small, fixable leaks on a site that's mostly a login page for people who already pay.
We re-audited zendesk.com and zendesk.com/pricing line by line against a July review that scored the site 72/100 with zero citations — several of its specific claims (the tagline, the plan names, the "170,000+ customers" stat) no longer check out.
Mindbody's homepage leans on strong social proof, but a sales-gated pricing page, generic hero copy, and a documented cancellation-complaint pattern on G2 and Trustpilot suggest real friction between what the site promises and what customers report experiencing.
Zapier's homepage now sells enterprise "AI governance," but its self-serve funnel still caps new users at two-step workflows and a billing model reviewers openly call confusing — a real gap between the pitch and the product people actually sign up for.
We re-audited woocommerce.com's homepage, pricing page, and "Start here" flow directly — the platform is free, but the site makes you fill out two separate forms before it tells you what running a store actually costs.
Webflow's homepage sells an "agentic web marketing platform," but its own pricing page, review profile, and free-trial caps tell a messier story — here's what we verified.
Square sells simplicity, but its own marketing site buries the one number every merchant actually needs — the processing fee — behind third-party comparison sites, while a public reputation gap (BBB 1.06/5 vs. Trustpilot 4.2/5) sits one click away from checkout.
We re-audited sentry.io from scratch with no recycled scores. Sentry sells developer trust well, but its pricing page splits costs across six separate usage meters — the same complaint G2 reviewers and three independent teardown blogs raise unprompted.
We went to audit segment.com's conversion path and found segment.com barely exists anymore — it 302-redirects into a Twilio brand-merger announcement. Here's what that costs a first-time visitor trying to figure out what the product does.
We re-audited runpod.io from scratch and found the real friction isn't missing social proof — it's a pricing page with no calculator, an opaque "free credit," and a reliability story that RunPod's own status page and reviewers keep confirming.
We loaded render.com and render.com/pricing live, cross-checked the claims against G2, Trustpilot, and Hacker News, and found a genuinely well-built platform whose own pricing page requires three separate tables and a "Show Pricing" click-through before a buyer knows what they'll pay.
Ramp's pricing page invites self-serve signups, but the moment a buyer tries to find the real cost of the Plus plan, the trail goes cold — an unpriced "platform fee" and a literal placeholder where the Treasury rate should be. Third-party reviews confirm the pattern is bigger than one page.
We re-audited railway.app (now railway.com) with fresh eyes — the homepage's flagship "live usage" counter renders as literal zeros without JavaScript, and the pricing page's plain-English framing collides with years of community reports of 2-5x bill surprises.
PostHog rebuilt its homepage around an AI-agent pitch since we last looked — the analytics platform now leads with "self-driving product," and that repositioning creates new friction we can actually verify, not the same friction we flagged before.
We re-audited notion.so and notion.com/pricing live this week — the AI credit system, a buried trust page, and a promise-vs-reality gap in onboarding are real, citable friction points; a fourth "leak" from our earlier pass didn't survive verification, so we dropped it.
We re-audited pinecone.io and pinecone.io/pricing live — the real friction isn't vague "generic SaaS" template complaints, it's a pricing page that hides its own unit economics and a CTA that skips the signup path entirely.
New Relic's homepage leads with a headline that reads like a marketing-copy word carousel rather than a value proposition, and its pricing page hides a documented "seat cliff" that jumps a team's per-user cost from $99 to $349 the moment it adds a sixth login.
We re-audited monday.com's homepage, pricing page, and public reviews from scratch — no recycled claims. The site has pivoted hard toward "AI agents" messaging, buries its 3-seat minimum, and carries a G2-vs-Trustpilot trust split worth $ millions in ARR if left unaddressed.
We re-crawled netlify.com and netlify.com/pricing after Netlify's 2025 shift to credit-based billing — the confusion isn't hearsay, it shows up on Netlify's own pricing page and across G2, Trustpilot, and Hacker News.
We loaded linear.app and linear.app/pricing live and found a homepage with no clear CTA until the bottom of the page, a pricing table with two competing buttons on its most-purchased plan, and AI features priced nowhere on the site.
