Competitor Research Tools

"Competitor research" isn't one question — it's at least three. Pick the one that matches what you actually need to know.

Frequently asked questions

Which competitor-research tool should I start with?

Depends on the question. Want to know how much visibility you have relative to rivals overall? Share of Voice. Suspect a competitor has technical SEO problems you could learn from or that explain their ranking? Indexation Checker. Need a list of specific keywords to target next? Competitor Keyword Gap.

Do these three tools share the same underlying data?

No — they read different signals for different questions. Share of Voice blends search-traffic and AI-citation prominence. The indexation checker reads a domain's public crawl and index footprint directly. Keyword gap analysis compares ranking keyword sets between domains. Running one doesn't substitute for another.

Can I run all three on the same competitor in one conversation?

Yes — ask for each in plain language in the same chat and nqzai runs them as separate turns, or ask a broader question like "what is the competitive landscape and where can we realistically win" and it reads all three signal types together to answer.

Do any of these require the competitor's permission or account access?

No — all three read public signals only (public search results, public crawl/index status, and public ranking data). None require the competitor to have connected anything, and none access private data that belongs to them.
